Hallmark Cards

The following are examples of the gift and promotional items developed under DeWitt Kendall’s leadership and brand stewarship while with Hallmark Card’s. This leadership included the co-corrdination of a cross-functional team involving Design, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Packaging. Working closely with Hallmark Marketing the 3D Mass Studio developed items for all Hallmark Mass Channel customers including Wallgreens, CVS, Safeway, Kohls, Kroger and many others. Under his leadership the 3D Mass Studio became more targeted, utilized supplier capabilities and instilled emotional content in producing work that Mass Retailers alone would not have been able to accomplish themselves thereby promoting the value and integrity of the Hallmark Brand. The 3D Mass area has since served as a model within Hallmark for integration of marketing and procurement roles into the product development lead position thereby streamlining the connection between retailer needs and product development. The position now works directly with Mass retailers rather than through other functional organizations to meet customer’s needs.
